GUJRANWALA: On Wednesday, the ATC sent Mr. Hafiz Saeed, Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD), to prison for a 14-day legal trial.

During the trial, the ATC commissioned the Task Force Against Terrorism (CTD) to provide information to Hafiz Saeed on August 7.

Hafiz Saeed was arrested by CTD on July 17 and the Punjab government leader said the JuD chief was accused of raising capital for prohibited clothing.

His arrest was acclaimed by US President Donald Trump, who said: “After ten years of searching, what is called a militant attacker in Mumbai has been arrested in Pakistan.”
